Parents, to assist you in choosing books for your children, AR has an “interest level” description on all books. The interest level is based on content — a book’s themes and ideas — and indicates for which age group a book is appropriate. Interest levels are labeled UG (upper grades 9-12), MG (middle grades 4-8) and LG (lower grades K-3).
Ask your teachers or a librarian to help you find AR books your child will enjoy!
