Extended School Program
St. John’s Extended School Program (ESP) is for school families who need care for their children after 3:00pm. This program provides a safe environment for children to socialize, play, eat a snack, and do homework.
ESP is available for all students in grades Preschool-8th grade from 3:00-5:30pm each academic day. Spots are based on the number of staff available, with priority given to those families who schedule their ESP usage in advance using Sign Up Genius.
Because children are automatically enrolled for ESP when registering for school, there is no additional need to register your child for ESP.

Grades:
- Assignments and grades can be viewed via the family portal.
Billing:
- Tuition is billed based on the schedule that was selected at time of enrollment.
- Any incidental bills (lunch, ESP, spirit wear, sports fees, etc.) will be billed via FACTS. Billing occurs throughout the month, but invoices are sent on the first of the following month that charges occur. Invoices are due on the 15th of the month.
- Auto or prepayment is required for tuition, and autopay for incidental billing is encouraged.
Student Access:
- Students have the ability to access their personal information (not sibling or parent information) via the same family portal link.
- Student user name is associated with their school email address.
- Students requiring assistance with their username or password should speak with their teacher.

Lunch
The St. John’s hot lunch program provides a nutritious and well-balanced lunch for students each day. Meals are prepared onsite by Chef Dee.
Update for 2023/24
- Students will still tell their teacher each morning if they are having hot lunch. They will request a second portion of the entrée at that time as well.
- Student lunch and student breakfast will be free this year.
- Families will be billed for any second entrees, second milks, cold lunch milks. You will not pay money in advance for hot lunch. Rather, you will be billed through FACTS.

Extra Milk, or Milk with Cold Lunch: $0.48

Non-Student Lunch: $5.17
Student Breakfast: FREE
Non-Student Breakfast: $2.46
Non-students who wish to eat a hot lunch need to contact the school by 9:00 am on the day that a lunch is desired.
Breakfast
- Breakfast will be served from 7:30-7:50 in the cafeteria (K-8) or in the classroom (preschool).
- K-8 Students requesting breakfast will first report to their classroom teacher before being dismissed to the cafeteria to eat breakfast.
Cold Lunch
- When a child brings a cold lunch, parents should make sure that the lunch is nutritious. Do not bring soda for lunch.
- Refrigeration for cold lunches is not available. Keep refrigerated items such as low-fat yogurt, cheese and lean deli meats fresh by including a frozen ice pack.
- Students are not allowed to use the microwave during the school day.
- Milk may be purchased with cold lunch. Each milk is 48¢.
