CALL COMMITTEE ASSEMBLED

The St. John’s Lutheran Church deacon council has formed a call committee to fill the vacancy in 5 th -8 th grade (Language Arts emphasis) as well as to find a new 3 rd grade teacher.  After 27 years of tireless service to St. John’s and a total of 38 years teaching, Mrs. Droogsma will be retiring at the end of the 2022-2023 school year.  We thank her for her dedication and years of service to the children and families of St. John’s! Think of all of the character book reports, reading superbowl hours, and dioramas that hundreds of third grade students have shared as a part of Mrs. Droogma’s class!  Her calm, quiet manner has helped many students, and her musical gifts and initiative to fill our yearbook pages will be missed as well.
