Dear Families,

If you have not yet experienced our fall Gala, please buy your tickets and come!  This event is a highlight for me personally every single year.  The ambiance of Rush Creek, a classy night out with other adults, the bidding war entertainment, the heartwarming video from our students, the crazy fun of the dessert dash… it’s simply wonderful.  The generosity and celebration of all God’s good gifts to us flows freely at the Gala, and I feel blessed to see and be a part of that every year.

With the new auctioneers, I’ve heard that it will be “classy with a touch of country”.  (They are speaking my language as a gal from Texas.)  Plus, there will be some exciting new baskets, items, and experiences for both silent auction and live auction:  a half hog, a pheasant hunt, some beautiful art, a paddleboard…such variety!  I may be partial, of course, but I’m hoping that I’m going to get to spoil a student rotten as our “Principal for a Day” when their beloved parent outbids the rest for this experience.  Let me tell you that last year was an absolute blast, and I aim to go even bigger this next year to keep things interesting!  So register online using the information in this newsletter or on your invitation, and join your St. John’s family for this once-a-year Gala gathering.  It won’t disappoint.
