Congratulations, Preschool!

Dear Families,

I want to personally thank our director, teachers, and aides for their devoted care of our preschool program!  The Dept. of Human Services conducted an unannounced visit for a comprehensive inspection on Wednesday, October 26. This visit focused on our physical setting, staff knowledge and competency, program policies and procedures, health and safety measures, paperwork organization and thoroughness, and much more that covered over 400 checklist items. It is an honor to announce that our preschool scored a 100% which is no small feat!   

It’s far too easy to take excellence for granted, but I want to let you know that I get to see behind-the-scenes.  I know the dedication and time required to achieve this.  Mrs. Kuehne directs our preschool with care and compassion while holding everyone to the highest licensure standards.  Her attention to detail is highly commendable.  She keeps an eagle eye (no pun intended) on all of the minutia required to run a licensed preschool, but she also knows the names and needs of each student and is their encourager!  Mrs. Koosman and Miss Rossow tend to the teaching and care of our littlest ones with love and passion.  They, too, balance high expectations with so much grace and warmth.  Mrs. Brockberg and Mrs. Davis faithfully assist in ways that are too numerous to count.  Their flexibility and support is appreciated more than words can say.  They also love our students!  I am so grateful for these women and the ways in which they care about each other as well.  That harmony is also what supports their success.

What a blessing from the Lord that we have a preschool, that we have workers who care so deeply about it, and that we have families who entrust this staff with their children and support them.  PLEASE TELL OTHERS!  We have room to grow and are so excited to be able to do so.  We need your voices to let your friends and family know that they can be a part of our preschool family, too!
