Hope in the Lord
A message from Mrs. Dolan, Administrator

Dear Parents,

Enjoy the final weekend before school starts on MONDAY! If you haven’t received the email that I sent on August 25 entitled “A Must-Read Message from St. John’s”, please let the school office know as it contains important messaging about the school year and our approach.

Thank you for engaging in “Tell the Teacher More” time with your child’s teacher/s this past week. It’s wonderful to begin to feel as if we all know each other a little better. Those partnerships will be valuable going forward.

Let’s prepare to enjoy this coming year! Let’s smile, find joy in moments, and work together. Let’s take a breath and remember that our Lord is in control. Children are remarkably malleable and will adjust to the expectations we set. They can better focus on learning in an environment of positivity. For them, let’s push aside the things about our current circumstances that may bring dissatisfaction or disagreement and free our children of those worries.

Isaiah 40:31 reminds us: “Those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”
